The COOL thing about the game is that it is coming out on the Mac simultaneously as the pc and xbox. Not 6 months later like usual.

another cool thing is that people are getting sucked into this army-based propaganda biased piece of shit without even knowing it

first comes america's army, then comse this... this isn't really as bad as AA, but i must say it's STILL full of propaganda stuff noting it is BASED ON A TRAINING TOOL DEVELOPED FOR THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS

i'm not saying it's a bad game out of the box, but why can't they just make games where you can actually see both sides of the story.. also after playing this a while, next thing you'd know is that the America Army recruitment wants YOU to be one of THEM

AA was made as a recruiting tool. Close Combat was not based on a training tool, you are thinking of Full Spectrum Warrior. Close Combat was just based on Marine tactics and when you create a military based game why wouldn't you base it on the actual military.

Sounds like a cool game, its meant to have low minimum requirements. Also I'd doubt they would ever let you see the other sides true story especially if your gonna have to kill them.

This is a commercial version of the Close Combat Marines training tool. I think some marines are actually using it for simulations to hone their techniques. I know a lot of them want to get their hands on it.

I have a friend that is stationed at Camp Lejeune (and will be going over to Iraq 2/15) and he said that all his buddies there can't wait to get a copy of it. Though I guess he will have to wait until he gets back since it won't come out until March. :(
