I have problems with Command and Conquer ZH mods

For some reason, I can't get any mods for command and conquer zero hour to work right on my desktop. The game works just fine, but when I download the mod and install it, i get an error message. I have an Intel Mac. Anyone know what I could do?

What error message? I haven't played Command and Conquer for along time but the error might help us narrow down what the cause is. Also, what mod were you trying?
