Raven Shield not installing

Aighty...over the past few days, I had been having issues with RvS performance, in that it was running rather slower and jumpier than usual. I decided to reinstall the game, but *idiotically* deleted the old copy before starting. Now, when I try to install, the bar will just about reach the end...but when it does (n't) I will get an "unspecified error" message. When I open the new RvS folder, there is a seeming completed Data folder.....but no app. Anyhow, I was hoping someone had an idea about why the install isn't working.
