Nice! Creative way of organizing the desktop folders. Wish I'd thought of it :P

How do you get those live feeds?

That is way cool,
The armaments which thunderstrike the walls
And monarchs tremble in their capitals.
The oak leviathans, whose huge ribs make
Of lord of thee, and arbiter of war;
Alike the Armada's pride, or spoils of Trafalgar.

Geektool, no? I used it for this: http://TimMcGinley.deviantart.com/art/D ... -125379384 and then stopped using it shortly afterwards after I realized it was being a total resource hog. I don't really need it... its cool for a little while then it gets old.

not really. As long as you have written good scripts you should be good.

Live feeds were easy enough.
Weather is updating via yahoo weather,
To-Do list is updating from my Things app,
IRC is a bit different, I've got my bot sitting in the channel, and I set it to flush immediately, and log it to a file, geektool is just displaying the live feed from the file. So, I wouldn't even have to be in the channel myself, yet I still receive logs, and a feed right there, in case something interesting comes up, I could pop in or w/e.

Geektool, huh? Might be an incentive to cleaning up my Desktop. Strangely enough, most of the stuff on there is kept simply because there is some small chance of me having to use it and needing it readily accessible. Not sure why.

EDIT: Why does this always happen? There wouldn't happen to be a 10.4 version of this, would there? Im still waiting for a new computer before upgrading.

Personally, I like your original blue desktop more than the other one. Big complicated distracting desktops bother me.

Panther was originally installed on it, Tiger is what I'm currently running.
