I have updated the forum and have added a new feature called, Ignore. Ignore allows you to ignore users. This means you will not see their posts. Also, if any of you can create a better Ignore image to match the forum e-mail it to me.
Just so you know, you can ignore everyone except for me and yourself.
If you find any problems since the update, post them here.
Update: Dark uk has created a better ignore image which matches the forum theme.

Seems sort of foolish..no offense, but why have it?
If you ignore someone, you won't see ANY of their posts?
If someone needs to be ignored, they shouldn't be allowed on the forums. I say the person who actually needs to get ignored should probably get warned for whatever reason they were ignored....
Say someone is spamming and it's getting sorta redundant...PM the person to stop and if they continue or protest, then ban their IP.
I've modded enough forums that ignoring a person will only bring up more problems than the first.

Selix, the ignore is a member's choice. For example, say you didn't want to read anything Blade posted then you would place him on your ignore list. The ignore would only affect you, not everyone on the forum. The ignore isn't a admin ban or mute, just an individual member's decision.
Try it out you will see what I mean. You can always unignore someone.

who cares if someone ignores you. or if u ignore someone. no one will know unless u tell someone.
and i dont really care about the ignore thingy. if someone doesnt like what i post, then it sounds like they have a personal problem

For personal reasons, I know. But there -are- trolls out there who will do anything to pick a fight, and good trolls can set a forum against itsself.
Just forewarning....Meh, so long as no one makes it a big deal, I'm fine with it.

Selix weren't you the one who was asking me what a troll was?
An Internet "troll" is a person who delights in sowing discord on the Internet. He (and it is usually he) tries to start arguments and upset people.
ooo, the irony.
When you try to reason with a troll, he wins. When you insult a troll, he wins. When you scream at a troll, he wins. The only thing that trolls can't handle is being ignored.
It's all making sense to me now.
I think the ignore feature is a good idea and hopefully it will keep established posters from leaving the forum, and it should also help make the lurker feel more comfortable about being able to post their opinion because of the arguments that trolls ignite.
BTW - There is no such thing as a good troll. Ofcourse, a troll will try and make you think there is such a thing, but don't listen, ignore.

To take someone off your ignore list, go to
here. And I do know about the problem with clicking the show post on the ignored person and it not showing.
