Mac Gaming Mods

To the persons at MGM:
Many of you may know me, many of you may not. Starting back a little over a year ago I started playing Halo Demo, eventually becoming good e-friends with some of you on this website. Many of you may also have heard of the website "Clan Halo," the competitive league for Halo Demo players. In recent times I was a moderator on Clan Halo. Well times have been a changing for a while now and pretty much all activity ceased to exist at Clan Halo.

Late in January after a few promises were not fulfilled, a few people, including myself, Erik (also known as infiniD), and Explozer have decided to make a new website featuring multiple games on the Xbox 360 and Mac. The website is http://www.ClanDistrict.com, and we're going to be featuring somewhat competitive leagues for Halo Demo, Urban Terror, Modern Warfare 2, and Halo 3.

Our forums and community are growing already, and while we are almost in the 'beta' stage of the site we still have a lot to do. In the coming weeks we hope to get a lot accomplished, along with getting some new members and the word about our site out. If anyone on this website is interested in joining a clan, participating in tournaments, or being a part of a soon to be large community please check out our site.

While we don't intend by any means to steal the thunder from a site like this, we welcome people of all backgrounds and experiences. As a part of the rules of the site, members will be allowed to 'Clan War' on any map in Halo Demo, or any other game as long as both teams agree to it. In other words, if you want to get your mod out there, posting it in the 'Modification Listing' section of our forum might be a good idea for getting you some publicity.

wow finally!!! I've been trying to sign up for clanhalo for awhile but the signup thing was messed up. I just checked out the site and its pretty nice

I was never able to make a clanhalo account but I have always wanted to get into the clan world.
I am very excited to be a part of this, and I cant wait to enter the world of clan wars.

yea its been hard running a clan without this kind of site to help me out

The stats and clan system are still in the process of development, I'll be making a screencast explaining how to do everything once the system is updated.

Yeah, honestly the fall of clanhalo does not surprise me, nor does it surprise me that I only just learned of it just now. It's sort of a shame and makes me wonder if Yummy or Sword or any of the other less nubby clanhalo people will show up again. In any case, yeah, I guess I'll join, but it'll be more to be in the community, not so much to join clans. I'm a lone wolf to the core.
