Re: Lookie here!
I would guess that they are that.
The armaments which thunderstrike the walls
And monarchs tremble in their capitals.
The oak leviathans, whose huge ribs make
Of lord of thee, and arbiter of war;
Alike the Armada's pride, or spoils of Trafalgar.

Re: Lookie here!
I don't believe lightmaps are involved. More than likely it's just a light source which is something you can set in most 3D environments. Creating shadow is not that difficult a feat.

Re: Lookie here!
yeah, it's known! but we don't need that!
i asked about lightmaps because for example, if you want to create a mod in b30a, there are some shadows somewhere in the map that in campaign correspond to trees, or c_storages, and having the lightmaps represented on the editor would be really useful. >_>

I say, I do believe he pwned.
Anyway, as long as I get teh eye candy and my mind gets to wonder...this is amusing as to exactly what it is, it reminds me of Maya when you render untextured models xD

Yaknow, I'm just gonna guess that you figured out how to import the BSP into a modeling program you made.
