"Evangelization thread"? You've already made it clear that you don't like listening to me talk about God. Why should I pester you about it? There is no "evangelization" going on here. Haven't you read what I wrote? If God lets you understand, you will understand. But your refusal is only your own doing. I'm not pestering you or bothering you about it; I'm just sharing my wisdom. Now leave it alone already; you made your point several times over about not wanting to hear me talk about God to you. Let's not get into libel or slander here by labeling my words instead of preparing honest replies or simple ignoring of them. Where is the compassion in this forum? It has become dichotomous to pats on the back and teamwork or flaming and malevolence.
Either you are groping for answers, or you are asking God and listening to Jesus.

Just a tip. Don't even talk about God. It's not that there's anything wrong with God, it's just that whenever you say God we immediately think of that. So just don't even mention God for a while.

The last sentence of my previous reply reveals my frustration at the social level of this forum. Honestly, I spend much more time here than I used to spend online.

You could say, "Sparky, get a life and stop preaching about God here." Or perhaps another way of saying it is that the social level of this forum is not appropriate for the diversity and level of conversation I seek. I can take my discussions elsewhere -- but I don't see any immediate venue for speaking with anyone about God outside of a Bible study session, but such a session is not even appropriate for these conversations either. Believe it or not, I even tried to convince a local church pastor to let me give a sermon; that didn't work out so well, though... seems the "emic" is overpowering his sense of faith in God (and myself). So yeah, I've had no luck finding anyone -- not even close family -- with whom I can reasonably talk about what I want to talk about.

There is nothing worse for creativity than to set forth social requirements as a boundary between an artist and his goals. I saw an 80-year-old man graduating from college once; he had studied in school his entire life. I do not have my entire life to spend fulfilling social requirements in order to enable other people to listen to me. At some point, one must take the content of my words as they are and not judge me based upon my scholastic history. I am not saying education is a hindrance -- normally it is useful and at the collegiate level can be very enlightening if you are fortunate enough to work with brilliant mentors who genuinely care about you. I have been blessed to have met certain people, whereas others I can say should probably have retired a long time ago because they show no care for their students. Stick to the mentors who genuinely care about you while you are in school, and be a compassionate individual towards all people -- good and bad -- throughout your life.

I have social venues for speaking about music, and this is also accepted by the academic communities in which I have participated. I also have social venues here at MGM which I'm trying to expand also about modding games like Halo, and this seems to be acceptable at this location. I've tried to create venues for a number of other things, such as discussions on how to improve government legislative procedures, but that needs more work.

Consider my circumstance with a modicum of understanding which you might relate to this topic.
Either you are groping for answers, or you are asking God and listening to Jesus.

I have a few aliases, but everyone calls me Olive. I keep tokage on here more out of tradition than anything else. Occasionally I'll pick up small side profiles on other sites, but they're just little personas. It's fun.
