Permanent bans often happen when the user has been banned before for the same offense.

just a few minutes ago i was getting frustrated by not knowing the CD key for halo and i was randomly putting numbers and letters in. and as luck would have it i managed to randomly get the right CD KEY ROFL'S IS THAT ONE IN A MILLION OR WHAT!!!!! ROFL'S XD XD XD

i got banned for a day for changing my name. some people started calling themselves "The Anthem of (their previous name)" so i change mine to "The Anthem of Draconic74" and get banned. what really sucks is that i made a new account, and now there are two draconic74s (and another one - whos knows who he is), one it "The Anthem of Draconic74", and the other is <(X)>Draconic74. it really sucks cause now the only way to get onto the old account is get booted again. anybody know an administater i could ask to boot me for a day or so?

Draconic, what are you talking about? I don't see why you need to be banned again to get into your old account. If you just want to switch back to your old account then just the GameRanger preferences in your Preference folder. Once you do that start up GameRanger and it will ask you to either create a new account or enter your existing account info. Then just enter your original account info and you are back to normal.

Ok, it is possible to spoof your IP. Secondnly you are wasting your time if you try. GR does not ban your IP addresses. Kevill had the foresight to realize that many people are college students and share the same IP.

Your MAC address is whats banned.

Doesn't matter anway, I have figured out a few ways to get on GR regardless. I choose not too.
