The SANDF mod

hi there guys!
i would really like you to DL the SANDF mod, try it out and then come
back with lots of feedback and what you think.
this is my first mod release and i hope you´ll like it.

Mmmmm, yes, quite nice......crisp.
The one crash i'm getting is on the sniper menu, but
it might be my glitch and not the mod....will track it down.
The only other crash was a weird not found file for a particular
enemy character.....but i'm also trying the new
map pack (3) and it only happened on one map (?).
New maps.....the water of gameplayers.
Very good work.

about the sniper and the character thing. can be most helpful.

oh, good news....both crashes probably
my fault.....one was a missing halo effect
on a prison map...i remember trying to alter it.....
heh heh......and the sniper kit crash seems
to occur when i reach el_m24_black. The
model file is there but not a texture......I'm Probably
missing That from trying to make it blacker...
any idea where that originally came from?
the missing ice_russ.chr 6, I think was just Puter Fatique.
Cause it uses those all the time, right?

that´s good to hear. the el_m24_black texture
comes from earls standard upgrade mod.
about the ice_rus thing, some of the chr´s use
those faces.

oh cool, thanks........i think if i add the texture
it'll be ok.....
I'm also getting weird c-4.qob file not found messages.
Sometimes I have to demo an object three times before
it'll blow up.......does it Then find the qob file......?
Again it might be an HX mission idiosyncracy, or that
its in the "guarded forest" map...but that
doesn't make sense to me.

I can't believe there's
something missing I first didn't screw up...hahha.
But el_m24_black is still a mystery........i redownloaded
standard upgrade but the texture isn't there still.
And yet I remember it was Black, and a good looking gun,
and that the mod was working last week.......
I was just keeping it activated for when I'm playing
AS....oh wait....maybe standard only works if AS is
being used? That doesn't really make sense either......
but can't find that texture anywhere.

the el_m24_black is there m8
model/weapons/el folder contains the el_m24_black and m24.
textures/weapons/el/el_m24 folder contains all the necessary textures.

is there anyone else that has something to say about this mod
note!!!
i have discovered some small issues in the multiplayer folders.
these will be corrected asap.
however this will not affect regular campaign or quickmissions
only mp.

I cannot get a complete download of this file. Everytime I try (using FTP with Firefox), the download quits after about 22 Mgs. Has the file been checked recently?

That might be a firefox issue.......
is there a setting for limiting downloads?
Didn't mozilla have that setting?
