o m g

I'm shattered and completely disappointed.

Thumper must have reverted to 480 x 640 resolution when he thought of the zooms, it's a regression into complete head scratching.

Scathing mod = ON. There's little opportunity for diplomacy on this.

There are some bright moments but they're heavily outweighed. I won't be hosting this.

ya, im not to impressed with some of the zooms on the rifles either, but like with every new mod you have to serch thru it to find the one that works for you. I found a few nice rifles in this mod, but i dunno if i like it enought to play it all the time.

Besides i use the Alpha MOD weapons, i prefer them over most of these weapons mods, and now that i'm used to "the look" that the AS mod has i cant stand not using it, especially the huge red dots that were replaced for the command map, BLEH.

That's the problem I found with this mod. I have had to try the all and found the majority (as in 75% easily) had woefully inadequate zoom to the point of being rediculous.

In other words:

If you have to search that hard to find anything near decent, it's not worth it.

I'm not hard to please. I only found 1/4 of the weapons, at most, usable, and that's being nice. When one weapon is used 6 or 8 different ways, well that ruins those 8 combinations too. Confusing still, his previously good weapons were severely dumbed down.

" If the zoom can't see past my foot, I ain't gonna use the weapon... that's ludicrous " (Leary, Nov. 2004)

Actually if you scale down your res to 800 x 600 from 1152 or 1200 then the zooms on the "short" rifles become "not bad".

yeah, ditto that. i like the better resolution for the large screen but it just plain looks better at the lower rez.
