I also got a Kernel Panic. I have a Mac OS X G5 running 10.5 at 1.6GHz. EDIT: 512MB DDR1 RAM.

Whatever you do, don't open it if Halo Demo isn't running.

Fonzie wrote:Also, if you could build a feature that allows you to fly around the map while the other players continue playing, that'd be perfect.
It already does that:) It's just basically swordedit (normal) with players, vehicles and flags.
nil wrote:It'd be easier if you uploaded the source code (and presumably the Xcode project) as you should, whenever you release a new build to the public, anyway. I can only see what's occurring in the one method you posted.
The source code is pretty big, and Im stuck on 2 kb/s for a while (I went over my bandwidth limit)
nil wrote:This logic is completely wrong? The PID isn't always the same, and it would rarely be a random number like 1675. Perhaps you're grabbing the PID elsewhere in your program, but I can't tell from what you've posted. In any case, that code should be omitted.
Fixed. The PID was also being taken from another function elsewhere.

I have done a large fix, and here's the latest version:

I cannot seem to get it to do live editing. Also, I keep getting beyond bounds on a number of NSArrays. If you can post the code I could help you nail down where they are happening. You should be verifying the contents of the array before you try to do something with it.

Good thing is that I am not seeing a kernel panic in GDB, it may or maynot still be here, I have not tested without using a debugger.

Was halo open?
Were you hosting?
Did you load the map after hosting?

Here's a movie of live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8d-axKL ... tube_gdata
Quicktime screwed up so halo is occasionally white.

It worked four times. But now it keeps saying that is "Loading Map" whenever it launches. It always ends up crashing.

Try deleting the auto file, or just restart your computer (which will delete it)

Did you save the map? :|
