With the new method of organization at HDM, you should be able to do a general search for a page title that matches the name of a mod. So you don't have to search the uploaded files, per se.
For example, I just made a mod and gave it its own page here:
http://www.halodemomods.com/wiki/Aim_Assist
So if you search for Aim Assist in the general search box, you'll find that page which also links to the mod.
If you want to browse all the mods we have at HDM, you can view the Mods Category.
