[MOD] Halo Doodles

It's here! AR is black paint, flamethrower is glowy pink spraypaint, and plasma rifle is blue paint. Banshee gun is blue paint generator. For ease of painting, dying is disabled. :P

Known bugs:
  1. Bullet holes (black paint) only work on base walls.
  2. Need to make it completely white.

Not bad for a first mod, but the walls, cliffs, should be "canvas", as you said.
Square black spots aren't very exciting, paintball guns maybe?

I try to follow majority vote, since I'm not really affected by it; mods are made for the enjoyment of all. If it's for the people, it should be by the people ... and nobody said that I shouldn't just release mods to see the response, so I did it. :D

Well it's not my first, but it's my first try at bitmapping. And I'm still trying to get them to be all canvas, cuz I'm working out exactly which bitmaps do what. As for the square spots, I'll probably make a version involving another weapon so that you can have a quadforce brush set, and making them round needs a better graphics editor and more time; I just wiped the bullet holes/plasma marks/flame burns and colored them. :P

I'm just going to bring up the old quote I saw somewhere
A mod takes at least 1 week to do, not something you can do together in one day
Don't release everything so hurriedly, work on it for a while, make sure you are satisfied with it, then release it. From what I can extract through your statements, you still have more ideas to improve it, which you haven't done so yet.
By the way, Paintbrush is good enough for all the reticules and bitmaps. Pielogist only used Seashore and Paintbrush for his Armageddon mod, and look what it produced.

Make the ROF like, over 9000 so that it's more of a sweep than multiple square shots.

I'll try that. But I've kind of noticed problems (probably with rendering or memory limits) when the fire rate is too high.

This is actually interesting! I like mods that make funny things happen. This is good cuz sometimes when I'm playing, I write my name on the base walls with my pistol cuz I'm bored. Yay

the lulish, thing i made in halo was the ability to urinate as primary fire. that and a AR with peter griffins laugh.
