[MOD] Random Starting Weapons 3

New version 3.0 revises the spawn points, nulls ghost run-over damage and adds some plasma grenades in the middle around the camo-shield spawn. You still start with up to 4 random weapons. I also enabled all the spawn points for all game types, so there will be more variety in all the game types. Oh, and I switched the teleporter exit points ;)

Pictures unnecessary, as the premise is where you start and with what weapons you start. You start with up to 4 random weapons and closer to the middle for instant combat. There are only ghosts on the map.

Thanks to Sniper Cas and friends for testing the mod with me just now. Everything seems to work smoothly.

If you want your team to spawn in a certain area, the game engine works so that teammates respawn near other teammates who are still alive.

There were some bad red spawn points; updated to version 1.1.

Do you know what are all the factors used when deciding on a spawn point? (For example, where do you spawn in the beginning if there is a square map with equally spaced out spawn points on a grid?)

Nope. There's no algorythm like in H3. I'm not even sure H3 has one...
You just spawn in any random point as long as it's enabled for the gametype. Even if there is another body there or if it's outside the map, you WILL spawn.

In CTF, I think it first puts you as close to the flag as it can, then as close to the remaining teammate(s) as it can; in addition, it randomly spawns you in a new area. I'm not sure if this is related to the rate at which you die or some other time factor, but if spawn points are grouped, you will occasionally respawn in another group. If they are too far separated, the teammate-alive rule doesn't matter and only the proximity to the flag matters, I think.

Notice your starting location when you start a map for the first time without other players.

In halo 1 i dont think it does.
I was playing once, it was 2 on 2. I kept spawning in the same exact spot and getting spawn killed.

That's strange ... I don't ever remember spawning in the same spawn point more than 4 times in a row.
