**For those of you who don't know, Singaporean males have to attend army at the age of 18 and do it for 2 years. They can go back home on Friday nights to Sunday nights. (:
***Thats also another reason why some people who can't bear it change their nationality to Malaysian. <_>
Excuse me while I move to singapore.

Btw 2310, translucent clips have been around for decades. Singpore isn't the only country to use them.

Us. Coughity cough cough.

Ah ok. The CPW was the first I saw and the only one I knew of until you enlightened me and possibly the rest of us. Thanks! :D

Actually the technology's already standard for the latest fighter jets if I remembered correctly (Real life Halo-style HUDs ... as in the ones that are actually in your visor and track your vision). And they're actually not called HUDs, they're called HMDs, meaning Helmet Mounted Display. (If it's implanted in your eye ... I'm not exactly sure what that'd be called.) HUD originates from a time when you actually had to keep your head up and staring straight ahead to actually see the display.

Again, the HUD has been in service since the end of the second world war, especially in aircraft. How the hell would you be able to tell where your missile has locked onto otherwise?

And the HMDS (Helmet-Mounted Display System) is only different in the F-35 as it's on the helmet itself. Just easier so you can see your HUD when you turn your head. Not much different.

What seabeast talks about is either halo-style helmets with a HUD linked up to your gun and your suit, or something that one of the faggot admirals said one day and ended with "Would that be cool?".

@2310: Quit talking about shit you don't know about. Please.

I am good at some things. Just not on weapons, and I don't have too much time these days to keep myself current on them. I'm still learning.

And if someone here is better than I am at something, I'll leave each to their specialties.

Other than not wiki-pedia/halopedia -ing everything when there are better people to handle something, is there anything you recommend me to do?
