Meh, just let him make one and see how hard it is to manage a mod team and make group mods.

Re: Mod Team
Would you recommend trying to make a collab first to see if I'm a good mod team manager?G[v]N wrote:Meh, just let him make one and see how hard it is to manage a mod team and make group mods.

Re: Mod Team
We already have too many modding teams, none of which have produced any real team-oriented mod. The idea just doesn't work.

P.S. Yes, I know some modding groups have turned out work, but those pieces were always primarily worked on by one person, and lacked genuine group involvement. Therefore, they don't count.

Oh come on...D: srsly?Moxus wrote:lacked genuine group involvement. Therefore, they don't count.
Though, they do have a point. Most groups don't shell out much.
Re: Mod Team
Seriously. And there's a reason most groups don't shell out much.

Re: [TOPIC CHANGE] Making collabs
Ok then. What would you recommend if I wanted to make a mod that would be beyond my personal capacity alone, but within the capacity of a team (including me) to make?

From my experience the only thing that is beyond personal capacity would be if said individual lacked CE. Or sucks at skinning. Considering your pride of having 0% CE in your mods, the only thing beyond your capacity would be proper skinning?
In any case, that would really only need a minimum of 3 people. One who conceived the idea and can't do nuts, the second makes the map, the third makes the skins.

Ok, thanks!
