Hahaha, this is true. The only reason you don't see these people is because they don't go out so much. They argue online. You take that away and you got a lot of people coming out to argue in a less electronic medium. Online arguments are already not pretty, especially when you get hundreds involved. Now move the hundreds to somewhere else (where?) to argue. Good luck with that.
Also, if I remember, the Penny Arcade comic said something along the lines of:
"We have found that games have no influence on the way people think"
"If that is the case, why do you want to censor them?"
So it's not quite the same. But it's still a similar argument like the above.
