Health Question
Is is possible to make body health regenerate along with shield health as done in Halo 3?
Re: Health Question
All things are possible, I'll mess around in eschaton and get back to you.

Hehe thanks for the help, I'm doing that too now but can't find anything
Re: Health Question
If you can find the right tags you could possibly set it so that the shield recharging also triggers a health pack to drop at your feet or something along the lines of that.

Re: Health Question
would be possible with a chainspawning effect.Korpic wrote:If you can find the right tags you could possibly set it so that the shield recharging also triggers a health pack to drop at your feet or something along the lines of that.

Re: Health Question
but if you had full health and only damaged shields you would drop a healthpack.
Re: Health Question
perhaps create a special healthpack that removes itself after a second or so? is that possible?

Re: Health Question
thanks for the help guys! maybe I could null out the medkit's mod2 so it would be invisible?
Re: Health Question
Give the healthpack a collision effect, import a new effect (banshee bomb+) and null the effect and sound leaving only the JPT!.
Make the JPT only do damage to Elite Shield.
Figure out how to make the heathpacks material Elite Shield.
You're done!
(THIS IS ALL HYPOTHETICAL, I HAVE NO IDEA IF IT WORKS)

Re: Health Question
January. Invisible health pack?
Re: Health Question
This would use the same concept as my invisible cyborg tag, which spawned an active camo when the flashlight was turned on. The active camo model (named "overshield" by Bungie in the tags) would be nulled along with its collision model, or some such nonsense.

Re: Health Question
Hmm. What would happen if the Health Pack could only heal 1 bar of health... then when you spawn it, it slowly heals back your health, much like a "regeneration".

Re: Health Question
Theoretically, if you could edit the amount of healing, that would also mean there is a tag which heals you, and a value you can change in that tag,
if you have a tag in the first place, you can make weapons use that tag and heal you, and if you can heal with a weapon, you can heal with an effect tag, and you won't have to use healthpacks in the first place.
