A little laggy, a little weird colors. But it works and it works good enough to play~

Just finished the portal download and played through some of it. We need to figure out how to mod it, anyone smart take a look at it in hex yet?

Edit: Eh... Hexedit tells me it can't get the file info... is this because it runs through Steam? Obviously I am not one of those I mentioned above, the "anyone smart..."

I'll take a shot in the dark here and say that "gamestate" is the same as "savestate..."

On the other hand, we open the "SAVE" folder and find a screenshot of where I last was when I saved and a bunch of obvious save files...

And then we have that maps folder, with .cache and .manifest files. And at this point I can go no further.

from my (little) experience with the source engine, the only thing we can do is add maps, until we get the source sdk.
i haven't checked yet, but is there a folder in portal somewhere called maps? and in that folder some stuff with a .bsp extension?
