What is the console.

I was at the tools page at the mod database, and saw hconsenabler. It says it can enable the console. I don't know what the console is. I was wondering what it is and what it does. Plz answer mah question

The console is used to enter in commands in Halo and Halo Demo in order to run automated scripts that can boot players, change the maps, run map cycles, and numerous other fun things.

Console works in lots more game then just Halo and Halo Demo.

Actually, the Console (it's too important to not make its first letter lowercase) is used to run a server easier. You can kick, ban, etc. and even set the maximum amount of players, set the amount of team-kills (betrays) to cause that person to be automatically banned (if they aren't a local client [host]), remotely control a server, and even quit Halo.
