oh, Swordedit can make maps out of Scenery, and we can use Eschaton to use Singleplayer BSPs, but that's it.

Ah well. Small palate, less to learn as I like to say. Whats the latest and greatest mod out there? So I can get an idea of the capabilities of todays mods.

EDIT: omg. everyone in this topic is a Ranger except me
Sounds like your singing parables xD

And, Brimstone, what is the greatest mod out there? Perhaps one without CE.... probably Caves, Hell Island, or Evade. Hard to say, there are so many out there...

Best mod out there, probably Anthology, that will be perfect for showing capabilities... or maybe Axis...oh wait...

About mapbuilding,

We can now convert custom edtion maps, playable on demo. Now it is not just the tags we can import but whole BSP's, the latest version of eschaton can do this.

Modzy made an app named pearl that makes this conversion possible, there is also a collision model editor, it allows you to change the size of an objects coll.

With the ability to convert CE maps to demo, we can now make BSP's in Ce solely for halo demo, and mess with adding stuff in our own programs.
The armaments which thunderstrike the walls
And monarchs tremble in their capitals.
The oak leviathans, whose huge ribs make
Of lord of thee, and arbiter of war;
Alike the Armada's pride, or spoils of Trafalgar.

I may have been around here when you were still around.. though I don't really remember (my name was null). I think I enjoyed playing axis mod anyway. I don't really mod much though...
Amy wrote:Swordedit is released, you can download at the link Zap gave you, the swordedit in Fonzie's MP v5 is newer, but annoys me...
I remember that I built that version off of sword's latest source code. Depending possibly on your machine, the build in fonzie's modding pack may run much faster than the latest public release (also, that build runs on panther too, except only Fonzie would care.) If what annoys you is fonzie's UI alterations or whatever he did, you can get the same build here, with the UI not being altered.
I am no longer active to Halo or MGM, and don't guarantee a response on the forums or through email. I will however linger around the discord room for general chatting. It's been fun!

Thanks nil, but the thing that annoyed me is that you had to type in the pitch/roll etc, so it was very hard to turn around your scen, unlike original where you just move the bar.

Little secret about Twilight....it was supposed to be slightly brighter, but I uploaded the beta instead of the final release. The two are practically the same, but a decimals difference in the two makes them go crazy...lol...

And thank you, I worked on Axis for a long, long time...maybe ill do an Axis V2....
