I know this mod has a great rep, but it was hella noobish. The AR was WAAAAY overpowered, the battle rifle sucks ass, there are no snipers, and the energy swords are too easy to get. And I can't change anything because all of the tags are fucked up. I'm sorry, but I am extremely unhappy with this mod -.-

I don't know if the damage tags were changed, but unless you played Halo 3, you won't know how accurate the damage is.

Sorry there were no snipers, but it was either that or the BR.

BR is better, I mean, what's wrong with a sniper-ish assault rifle? Maybe it's the animations. Well I couldn't help that. Cryosis v.2 will. Tonight I'm gonna have some fun with my new BR.

I'm sorry if that came off as being a bit harsh, but regardless of the damage in H3, he weapons do favor newbie tactics. And the mod was definitely more fun after I got used to it. Nice work!

Bungie compensates the greater likeliness to die with equipment. Also might I note that Halo 1's damage system is linear, Halo 3's is power-based.

linear- damage is proportional to distance.
power-based- larger distances has an exponential effect on the damage.

If you took physics you know that your best shot is a line that follows the average damage of the power-based function as closely as possible (usually referred as the "best-fit" line). The second major aspect of Halo 3's damage system is that time is a factor of how much damage is taken.

In Halo 1, if a bullet hits, no matter how many hit at a time, they all cause the same damage. Halo 3, if you fire a burst, the damage for each bullet is less than if each bullet was fired individually.

I didn't mean the "fog" tag, no such tag exists. I meant I can't see the fog in the actual gameplay. One of the glitches that give you an advantage

Yes a successful version of EchoRanger's Cryosis Mod for Mac! Yay!!!
I asked Echo awhile back if I could try to convert it and it was a success...everything in the map is there however the Vehicles wont Spawn...maybe someone with more knowledge of Mac modding then me can Do it since I have never Modded Vehicles before...! Be mine and Echo's Guest! Happai Face! Enjoyz. It isn't Exactly the same but close :3.
