I'm not saying it was you (theone4life692), but if they saw Jacob Nobuyuki in the server with the name "Super Secret Mod", a reasonably smart person who has read this web site would guess it would be that mod. And once they know that the password would be pretty easy to guess since your not the only one to use that password. There are guests browsing this website all the time that could guess what mod was being played in the server.

Take this as a lesson not to give a beta without permission to anyone with out consent of the author.

The even scarier option is that someone registered on this website, maybe even for a period of time got the mod and had been around long enough to use the mgm password. This is unlikely and much more consequential. It was more then likely the first option.

I think we should stop using that password and adopt a more secure one.

I had eagerly awaited the release of the mod, and frequently checked all topics related to it.

Indeed, Shroom is my biggest Suspect, and with the fact that he hasn't posted on the forum lately increases my suspicions.... I don't believe Theoneforlife did, I am upset that he did, but I think in all honesty it was Shroom.

Uh, sorry about being a crazy person before.... This is just something I was really looking forward to and...... my imagination got kinda outta hand.

But what happened happened. Saying we're going to take extremely severe action on someone who we don't know or know the location of isn't going to help. All we know is this guy was probably new to Halo Demo (play speaking) knew who Jacob was and has some issues. If the mongoose was keeping people from joining then this could be remedied using island v3. I know for a fact that you can have vehicles in your map that aren't in the host's map and still join. He probably guessed the password. He might have been out to ruin your rep and seeing guys from mgm in the game probably intrigued him. Our question really is "What to do with the map now?" The answer is simple: Keep it under lock and key.

EDIT: sorry, i hadn't noticed the video and it looks like all those monggoses would stop someone from joining with island v3. So somehow he had the mod but the rest stands.

After watching i kinda agree with fuel. Just looked like some noob out to ruin everyone's reputation. When did he speak of revenge? He's also a HUGE idiot for saying it was his mod with you in the game. Coarse language is pretty much native to noobs on halo. Now, ( after seeing how EPIC this is) I'm even more bummed I about how I won't ever play it.....

What you could do is

A) distribute it secretly among mgm members (any leakers should be punished severely).

continue working on it secretly and wait 'till nobody remembers it, then release it.





(although since I am not well known here and have basically no reputation I probably would not get it if you did A)
