But Alt, it did work... once, then the app you compiled and such broke.

....ya but that isn't the scripts. The way to open doors with a gear is through scripting, but there is no halo mac scripting tool yet.

Oh, but there are scripts, like the ones Conure took for his Arena map for the door. They are referenced in the scnr tag:

if you swap a piece of scenery with a door mach it opens when you go near but will sometimes lock itself at the start of a game

i think you misread that topic olly, which i made :roll: . Doors will work if you swap em for scen, but they dont "sometimes" work. Your talking about the door in b30 that won't open, because it is locked by default. To make that door openable, you would need a script. And to make a door open from a button, is far past our current knowledge. <well maybe not even our knowledge, just our lack of the tool that deals with scripts.

Oh now i see i think you need a door that opens anyway so for that you need full

but somehow when i was messing around with Mach tags in Sparkys "crazy madness" and i swapped the teleporter bases with Doors and when one opened so did the other one
