i looked, the only thing thats in the meta file is the stuff that you would see if u opened in eschaton. And in the xml file is a bunch of reflexive stuff. So i think its gonna be alittle harder to find than that. :'-(

The XML does not hold much useable data. The .meta file is taken right out of the map it self, and hold all the data, or references to data.

You don't need hex to do that anymore. Eschaton 0.6 has the ability to do that.

<cry> it doesnt work </cry> theres no place in bloodgulch where it says "press "E" to enter vehicle". And eschaton .6 hasnt been released yet.... plus even if it was i bet it still wouldnt work.

it still didnt work. i dloaded the new eschaton looked around. Theres still nothing about pressing e to enter vehicle

The system is too flexible to allow for that by editing the strings. The ustr tags contain generic data which is parsed and combined for any given situation. There's a simpler way to stop what you want from happening if your goal is to have an invisible vehicle, that people can't use. If that's the case just change the seat string to something cyborgs can't use and it won't show up.

YAY alt you get a gold star, you solved approximately half the problem . Now i just need to know how to make it not say: press "E" to flip warthog

* the idea of making the warthog seat something the spartan cannot use (like P-driver) was not proposed by taxi because taxi thought that shadow wanted to drive the vehicle. <_<

I just remembered a PM convo I was having with shadow where this would be related. So there was extra knowledge that you weren't operating on.

ok i should have thought of this b4 it was kind of obvious, in my mod its not as much about entering the seats as it is about flipping the warthog cause i already made the physics flip it automatically, so you would only see the press "E" to enter driver seat if u flipped it then jumped up. Anyway i still need to find that tag somewhere that has the press "E" to enter/flip hog. BTW i already looked through ALL of the tags in the ustr in eschaton and hex. So its for sure not in there.
