I decided that I'll just keep a thread for all the episodes instead of making new ones for each episode.

Episode 1: "The Awesome Machinima"

Episode 2: "Updates"

Stay tuned!

26/04/09: Episode 2 is up.

I don't want to be in your machinima Seafire, I just don't want you to continue to treat me like crap. There is no need to continue doing so.

Yes, it matters quite a bit actually.

Seafire, I do hope you kept the Project file of your Seafire and Hostbots, because you have copyrighted music in them.

and next time, bring these to me and jacob before release if you expect them to be released to machinima, and especially if there branding the JB name.

Yeah, that's why I asked for a licensed version of "Cowboy" by Kidd Rock in the JB forums.

I'll work something out soon, then we can start putting this stuff on Machinima.com.

Pretty good. Very funny script. Only problem is the audio is pretty low-quality. Looking forward to some more episodes.

You don't seem to understand... Even if it's licensed you need DIRECT permission by Kidd rock or his company themselves, when you buy music, all you buy is the right to listen to the music, NOT to use it in YOUR videos.

I meant this.

At places like freeplaymusic.com, the licenses for the songs are owned by freeplaymusic themselves, and sites like them are cool enough to let us use the music provided for the site.

I remember DigitalPh33r mentioning a site for real songs with that kind of licensing in one of his videos... i mean, where else would he have gotten "White Wedding" by Billy Idol in one of the episodes of Arby 'n' the Chief?

only if you feel like shelling out 30 to 500 bucks for the royalty liscense, go for it.

I'm pretty sure the copyright only matters if you're intending to sell or otherwise monetarily profit from the owner's work.
