Either use a gametype or null it out, as simple as that. :)
(monorail cat is NOT obsolete)

Figure it out for yourself. There are bitmaps used for the radar. If you null them out, it will disappear.

HOW TO NULL THE RADAR WITHOUT GAMETYPES:
- open your map in the last Eschaton build.
- goto matg tags and select globals/globals
- in Meta Editor, goto Reflexives > interface bitmaps > interface bitmaps 1 > Dependencies >
- in motion sensor sweeper, swap its dependency with "ui/shell/bitmaps/black".
- repeat the green step with:
motion sensor sweeper m
motion sensor blip bitmap
interface goo map1

- then, goto unhi tags, and select ui/hud/cyborg
- goto Int16s >
- in MSB - anchor offset - x, type -1000 as its value.
- in MSF - anchor offset - x, type -1000 as its value.

and voillà.
