Importing Pelican into Bloodgulch

I've managed to get Elites, Elite Specials, and even Lifepods in lately. Are you using Demo Hack 2.1 for the header conversions? I find that works well.

On another note, is there anything different that needs to be done with importing scenery? I have been trying to import trees lately, and there appear to be things missing when I try to import recursively (I have exported the material recursively). Is scenery special is any way? If so, what do I need to do to compensate?

Hey, can someone help me out? I'm working on a bloodgulch centered completely on aerial combat, but as people may know HHK does not work on my computer. Thus I cannot export/import a pelican into my bloodgulch. If I knew how to make a hog fly, that would also be helpful. I can send you the mod so far, you can import the peli, and I'll give you credit for that part of the mod. Or someone can tell me a way to do it myself without HHK. Support is appreciated.

I would recommend that you use the Lifepod over the Pelican. The Pelican is a bit big for the map, and wouldn't have too much space to maneuver. If you want the Lifepod, I imported it earlier today, and I can send it to you.

Ok, but can the lifepod actually be used for battle? Does can it have passengers, to attack with? If it does, that'll be great. Do I have to use your existing map with the lifepod in it, though? I can do the changes I've already made all over again, it's just a bit of a pain. Eh... what the heck, sure, where can I get your map? Then I'll just make my own changes to it, give you credit for the lifepod, and... that still means I need a flying hog... Definitely want one if this is going to be aerial combat. Any ideas?

You dont have to change the physics or anything? And how can that be made CSS?

CSS not sure if it's possible. Making the speed of the hog the same as the speed of the pelican makes the hog a little easier to control. Sorry I forgot to add that. Here are the Peli floats:

top speed (forward) - 0
top speed (forward) - 0.5
top speed (reverse) - 0.1
acceleration - 0.03
deceleration - 0.01
left turn angle - 90
right turn angle - -90

You may want to increase the deceleration because they don't stop very quickly. It's up to you depending on how you want it to be.

I can host the map on Filefront if you want, although if you're looking for a troop carrier, you're better off with the Pelican. The Lifepod, oddly enough, doesn't have any passenger seats. If I had CE, I could put some in, but with the material from Demo, it doesn't. Do you still want the file?

Moxus: Yeah, what's the lifepod replacing (assuming it's replacing something)? Sorry to ask all the questions, but I need to know for how I set up this mod. If it replaces the rocket hog, that's perfect, all I need. I've modded the chain gun hog and the banshee. Btw, I have one day to try and finish this mod, and get it uploaded. Today is friday. Tomorrow, Saturday, at 4:00 in the morning, I'm leaving for a backpacking trip in New Mexico that I've been preparing for. I want to, if it's possiblle, finish before that, since I'll be gone for two weeks. Thnx for the help.

The Lifepod can replace anything that you want it to. If you want it in the mod which already has the changes, send it to me and I'll import it. Otherwise you'll have to make all th changes over again, which depending on the extent could take a while.

It comes down to this. Which vehicle do you want? The Pelican or the Lifepod?

Agh... choices choices choices... well, I already have one solo vehicle, the banshee, and my hog that I've made works better as a bomber, not a fighter... So I think the pelican would be my best bet, since that can have passengers and thus a way to fight, and it means it'll be better as a team vehicle. Can you do it mox, or do I need someone else? I'm going to put the mod up on filefront in any case.

Ok, I am also working on a mod, but because I hate non-css mods, I need to know this: Can you make Imported vehicles CSS? Such as a pelican.
