Transparent Background?

Post by Hostbot » Sat Jul 25, 2009 9:18 pm

I'm trying to make the background of a picture I am working on transparent, how can I do this perhaps with the Magic wand tool?

Oh and I am using Photoshop CS.

Leave part of it blank and save as .png.

Any time you see that checkerboard in PS, its transparent. Use the delete key to remove the pixels from a selection, and if there is nothing under it it will become transparent. As V said, save as a png.
