Bleh, I dunno if I should enter. I make good cartoons... Not trippy stuff like monk did.
Mk, I guess I'll go, but don't expect anything amazing.

Re: Competition numba 2: Wallpapers
Well this has deteriorated...
Gvn, ok I see how you could have taken that the wrong way, but I meant it as simply a reflection of the relative unpopularity of design here on the boards and the huge popularity of text and humor based images... Sorry if it rubbed you the wrong way. Please do enter, if you win I can make you something else. I'd love to see what you come up with.
Monk... great job buddy. I actually have no idea how you did it, however, whatever you did, please make it the correct size. I and 95% of the rest of the world can't use that because of the size.
Seafire... two things. 1. If it was the proper size, I would definitely use it. I would modify it slightly to add some more depth and texture to it, but I really do like it. However, you are also wrong in your defense of it. If you have to defend something, its not perfect. And if its not perfect, there is room for improvement.
Great job everyone, lets keep it civil and keep them coming!

Re: Competition numba 2: Wallpapers
Pickoff, might I request an exception to the resolution rule? Alas, my screen is only 1024x768, and is extremely slow.
I'm trying to create one currently, but it's just way too slow to do anything efficient with that resolution. My computer isn't powerful enough for photoshop as it is, and trying to create something of that magnitude, is simply ridiculous. Until I get a new computer, I'm afraid 1024x768 is the best I can muster efficiently. And besides, my wallpapers at this point, wouldn't be worthy for others to be using as it is.

Re: Competition numba 2: Wallpapers
Feel free to post anything, but the lower screen size is a detractor. However, I'll make an exception to that if you can bring it up to at least 1440x900.

Re: Competition numba 2: Wallpapers
Thanks for the entry, but what part of 1920x1200 does everyone not understand? Those tiny sizes are useless to everyone but you. Make sure that any site you are uploading to is not resizing them automatically.
EDIT: yeah, that is probably the issue. Those people who uploaded to Photobucket need to change their settings and re-upload.

Most of us can't afford to buy a large screen for your competition >_>

Re: Competition numba 2: Wallpapers
No need to buy a large screen, my screen is just 1440x900... just zoom out in Photoshop.
Re: Competition numba 2: Wallpapers
Hay, my resolution is 1440x900 too! o_O
Still, the prizes aren't very appealing D:
