Leopard themes: coming to an overpriced application near you
For all you Leopard users who give a crap about good-looking operating systems, or want to make it look really, really ugly, there is hope:
Magic. A suddenly unified, finally good looking Leopard interface without gooey aqua scrollbars and buttons, but more importantly, a theme. In Leopard. Without ShapeShifter.
Notice the new traffic lights, scrollbars, button (in Safari) and list item bars. And my awesome new dock to prove it's Leopard and on my computer, I'll release if ya like.
Also, about that really, really ugly part (some one else's computer)
All in Leopard.
Just giving you guys some hope. And a twinge of jealousy.

The second one isn't my dock, I couldn't live with that number of apps. The first one is though.
Also, Taxi, in Leopard Apple finally realized that bright, glossy, gooey elements went out of style years ago... and M$ still has yet to realize it. That's why the did away with most of the aqua toolbar icons and replaced them with metal, that's why brushed metal is no more, but they forgot to get rid of the Aqua buttons and scrollbars, they just look so out of place...

Completely correct. However, computer elements go out of style really quickly... remember that for the last 8 years, Apple's has been making mostly white, glossy products. Notice that only one, single, wide-appeal Apple product is white anymore? That's the Macbook, and that will be changing by the end of the summer.
Same goes with Aqua.
Same goes with Aqua.
