Those things were cool.
I don't remember there being as much of a graphic community here as much as there was at clanhalo, but still.

There should be some epic graphics going on here right now.

There's not enough activity (moreso on my part, personally) for me to care enough about graphics... I just find or take a cool picture and crop it...

But why stop at cropping when you can mess with levels and stuff?

Haha Monk, all my graphics is on my deviantart. Furthermore, I've moved on to photography as well as video and 3D modeling.
I rarely use photoshop to create something, I only use it for photography.

Speaking of Photoshop, we've been starting on using it a little in computer tech class.
It was only a very introductory lesson, but I thought I'd share the results

And Pie, o_o PS CS4 or CS5 or 5.5? And I like the source image better as well. The colour correction in the edit has a very drastic change, maybe sticking to the same tones would help.

And I use layers and shit! My signatures are cool! …maybe a bit dated.



PEOPLE: if you want to excel in photoshop you should look for some basic tutorials on the webs! They'll teach you how to use tools and shit.
Then, well, you should also have some good graphical sense. :-\ like, what makes something good and what is just plain shit, but i don't know how to grow that! Probably gotta study or something!

I dislike image collabs Taxi. Don't take it the wrong way.
Yes, layers are important. Very.

To add on to taxi: To excel in photoshop you should also try messing around in the program itself. Messing around in GIMP brought me far, my own personal understanding of each tool. Basic tutorials are good, but some complex ones may restrict you, slightly.
