Request: Please make a mod in which there are a lot of grunts with ai in bloodgulch. I would like:

1. only grunt AIs.
2. Make the grunts able to have any weapon. This means all the n00by ones that will make me go boom alot.
3. allow them to enter/drive/fire all vehicles in the gulch
4. make the AR have a slower ROF, slightly stronger bullets, and more precise targeting
5. add two ghosts without replacing any of the other vehicles.

I understand that most people on this forum hate me and or are too lazy to want to do this. Just tell me if no one is interested in doing this, and I'll shut up about it.

I dont think Grunts can drive anything but Turrets. In which case, they will get into a vehicle, and try to aim/shoot from it. This causes massivly stupid errors in which the AI become idiotic. Instead, make them 10 times more likly to throw grenades. That makes it highly entertaining. :P

Other than that, the mods doable, but im not sure if anyone will take the time to make it, simply because it has the "coveted" AI. Nobody would release anything before, except for Skill Test, which, no offense to the creator (nice job importing BTW), was not very good. The AIs did nothing. So, I guess if those with working HHK programs have the knowledge and want to, its up to them.

I can do this, 8bitlove.

And, Drac, anything that you listed I can do as well. It's no problem at all. But, I'm goin' to take an easy road and use HMT. It only takes like... 30 minutes to go from modding on the Mac, to the PC, back to the Mac. LOL.

Anyone with the slight concept of modding, can make this mod with a PC and Mac. With no troubles. All you really have to know is the header change, and that's been posted I don't know how many times, all around this forum.

Give me about two weeks, and I may be able to get this done. I have a budy schedule. That's why it's goin' to take me that long.

Ahhh, but its not really a question of whether you can or not. A while ago I remember when AI was a closly kept secret. Not even a mod was released. What happened to that?

Unless you mean changing the Silent Cartographer into what i described. It wouldnt take long on Hex. Just a quick two or three values, unless you wanted other stuff. For instance, I dont think ive ever seen or at least remember an eilte moving and shooting... They always seem to stop. I remember a bitmask had the option to change this.

dude, if he says he can do it, i'm going to beleive him. i mean, he is ranger level, and you don't get to be that high without learning shit. and i'm guessing he's in the dev boards, so they problably can tell him...

Ummm... Im a Ranger Devil, and I havnt actually done the AI thing, partially cause im working on a mod without it, and partially cause all my HHK's wont open any Halo Maps, no matter what version/header... Stupid...

Rank doesn't mean anything. Drac is a Ranger, and he corrected me one time when I was teaching someone how to mod. I forgot that you need to find the reflexive for something. Haha. Nice save Drac.

And, the AI thing isn't hard at all. Make the actv of the hog or what ever of a grunt, and there you have it. Or, you may need to change the user availability or... what ever the name of it is... to where the grunt or another imported AI can access. It's really not hard. I'll do it right now... or maybe tomorrow during school.

I wonder... In campaign, make elites appear in the hog so you have to dispatch them first. XD

You mean when the Pelican arrives with the hog there are AI people in it? That's easy. Just put some AI in the warthog actvs.
