Mission glitch/problem

Hey guys, my friend's halo is acting weird. He can play the first mission with no problems, but every-time he starts to play the second mission it crashes. The map has nothing wrong (he doesn't mod). And another thing i noticed is that he has the white radar or radar glitch. I fix the radar for him but still doesn't work. Help?
