Re: Halo Custom Edition for Mac
So I recently tried reinstalling and it gives me an error about allocating memory. This seems to happen with only Snow Leopard people, so it might be broken on Snow Leopard. :/ I'mma keep trying though.
Re: Halo Custom Edition for Mac
yes, look up ifire on google.Mota-Lev wrote:xfire is on mac??
Ok, well i've been trying that and i tried opening the chromium halo ce program and it opens and quickly closes like a program does when it's not compatible with the OS, so i'm not quite sure its the OS, or i haven't set everything up properly.
Re: Halo Custom Edition for Mac
It's not the OS, it will crash if things are not working correctly inside the wrapper.
Re: Halo Custom Edition for Mac
Even i can't connect to the Master Server 0_o
Re: Halo Custom Edition for Mac
Ah Ok, that was my second guess but i wasn't quite sure. the directions for it aren't clearly explained anyways, i honestly don't know if i did everything right.Beast O' Teh Sea wrote:It's not the OS, it will crash if things are not working correctly inside the wrapper.

I've heard the rumor about these.
They say they can't install it in version 9 over.
But form me when installed, I need the original HALO CD to play.
You need to piracy the Crack no CD Halo custom edition. And then replace files blah blah blah......
Yes, that i only to say.

Re: Halo Custom Edition for Mac
Bumpfruit.
I'm installing this on Parallels (with a sort of different less in depth procedure of course), all the default maps work fine and I can join and play games, but when I install a custom map it gives me an error, saying that one of the files is corrupted (and it mentions the custom map I just installed) and the game cannot function.
Anybody know what's up?

Re: Halo Custom Edition for Mac
yes. you renamed a map. CE is retarted like that. for it to check the maps, They all must be the same name as when they were recompiled, or distributed. just make a backup maps folder or something.
Re: Halo Custom Edition for Mac
No dawg, I mean I just dropped the map (DMT-od_crossfire.map) into the folder, which worked every other time I've tried CE, but it says that "The following files are corrupted, the application cannot continue" (or something to that degree) and has a fatal error and quits. I didn't rename or replace anything.

Re: Halo Custom Edition for Mac
