Halo 3 Campaign

Post by WastedTruth » Mon Jul 21, 2008 8:32 pm

Campaign maps (in order):
Arrival
Sierra 117 - Echo 51 is down. Sergeant Major is trapped within Brute territory. Save him.
Crow's Nest
Tsavo Highway
The Storm - Scarab Tank within the map.
Floodgate - The flood are in the city. Retrieve Cortana within the crashed Covenant ship.
The Ark - Scarab Tank within the map.
The Covenant - Drivable Hornet vehicles within map. Two Scarab Tanks within the map. Stop the Prophet of Truth from activating all the Halo rings.
Cortana - High Charity, the place where Cortana was left behind in Halo 2, flooded with Flood after the Gravemine on Delta Halo gained control of An Amber Clad and crashed it into the great city. Find Cortana.
Halo - A replacement Halo for the one that Master Chief detroyed in Halo: Combat Evolved. "So new, so unfinished," Cortana said when arriving on the ring. It was built by The Ark, the place where you could activate all the Halo rings at once.

Wait wtf how is Sergeant Major Johnson still alive after being eradicated on the first Halo ring? "Classified," is the Sergeant Major's response.

He got off on a pelican. His story is published somewhere. In one of the halo books. Don't remember which.

I read that Contact Harvest was the story being told threw a young Sergeant Johnson eyes. So I downloaded the eBook and it was really good but had almost nothing to do with Sergeant Johnson. So Im like wtf?

No, in first strike.
Halopedia, from the First Strike page wrote:...The novel then moves to the debris field of Installation 04, right after the events of Halo: Combat Evolved. Aboard the Longsword used to escape the destruction, Cortana and the Chief conversed, with the Chief insisting that Cortana repeat her scans of the debris for any signs of life.

A battle group of seven Covenant starships entered the system, as did a Covenant flagship. Cortana found three cryopods that were jettisoned from the Pillar of Autumn prior to its crash on Alpha Halo. While she moved the Longsword towards the cryopods, she found a Pelican landed on a nearby asteroid. As the Chief retrieved the cryopods and returned to the Longsword, the Pelican took off and attacked the lead Covenant starship, diverting attention away from the Longsword. The two small ships linked up, and several survivors jumped out of the Pelican, including Sergeant Johnson, Corporal Locklear, Petty Officer Second Class Shelia Polaski[3], and Lieutenant Haverson. As the Master Chief had seen a video of Johnson getting infected, he pointed a pistol at Johnson's head, waiting for an explanation on how he could have survived. Apparently, Johnson didn't taste right and was not infected.

Seabees4 said something about a gene or disorder that made it so the flood could take control of him... But I forgot to put more info for the level: the covenant. there are two scarab tanks to kill. I LOVE SCARABS. they are like hunters because they are organic beings but have armor surrounding it. just look at the core of the scarab there are some organic substances when you take out the shield around it... just look. Um and I recently got halo 3, like last thursday, and my gamertag is ExDeltaFire.

I fixed up the quote there, there were several major spelling errors..... and I HATE spelling errors on an otherwise good post....

*Sigh*
Doctor Halsly told MC that Johnson had a case of Ben's Syndrome which interferes with the person's neural system, effectively blocking the flood from the victims neural system. He escaped on a pelican in the book First Strike.
