Jtag or devkit most likely.
Modzy, would a windows version of the modified emergence be possible? Also are the plugins the things that need to be changed? If so, sparky may help *looks at sparky*.

Emergence can be built for Windows I suppose. As for Eschaton, the problem I'm facing is that, for nearly everything ever dealing with anything that ever, ever touches a map file, a LittleEndian = True declaration is added. There are literally over 400 of them. So finding the ones I can edit without screwing up map loading is a bit difficult. For Emergence, Pearl, and all my other apps, streams are piggy-backed off other methods so that I only needed to declare the LittleEndian = True bit once for every stream, which meant that when I wanted to change it to read Big Endian maps, I only had to change two Little Endian lines to get the whole thing functioning, not 400.

Sorry for going off topic, but if I would do that, would I have to do it offline to try to avoid getting banned? And even then, when I get back on XBL would I have a possibility of getting banned?

JTAGing your Xbox is against the terms of use, but you will not get caught with it by being online. Now, playing a mod online has a chance of getting you banned, as your games gets saved to temporary storage and could theoretically be viewed by 343 industries, but the chance of them noticing any abnormal activity is slim.

Nice. So we could theoretically mod CEA, then go on XBL and play it with each other.

This is for campaign mods only. The others are in reach format.

Oh yeah. I don't think 343's servers would detect that. I really doubt it actually.

Yeah, I'm not an idiot, I was talking about co-op.

Just as an opinion, it seems pretty straightforward to me, coming from the approach I'm taking with Zeus, anyway.
