CE won't work, tool won't work, sapien won't work, so could someone with a working tool please compile a map with these tags http://files.filefront.com/tagszip/;119 ... einfo.html just the vehicles, weapons and Bipeds (preferably into a singleplayer map).

but Im not downloading 370 something mb of tags..........

As for you doing it....
Tool is run by commands, drag tool into a command window, then your scenario file, type in:

Code: Select all

build catch file
and hit enter.

Hey Guys im back and just in time to help you out very much first Open up the command prompt but then hide it find the map level you are editing and copy it move out of folders test in the levels and copy in the levels folder unhide command.exe and type build-cache-file levels/yourmapname/yourmapname

(yourmapname means like bloodgulch/bloodgulch) also you need to put a space inbetween here file (space) levels/yourmapname/yourmapname

and if you don't get that do this tool build-cache-file levels/bloodgulch/bloodgulch if you need more help tell me that is just compiling the .scenario if you haven't extracted that you need HEK+

How do I point it to my CE folder?


EDIT: never mind i found out, but how do I decompile a map?

WTF?! How did you get tool?! I need it soooo badly cause I just realized, even though I can't run CE, it still got installed and is locate-able.

EDIT: Rofl, I need HEK which needs dotNET which I can't figure out how to install sooo.... Yea.

EDIT2: Double Rofl! I got it to work most of the way by installing WIndows installer (WTF) and now it says I need IE 5.1 or later which I will acquire and see if it works then. Maybe I should make a new topic and keep things updated.

If you have an hp desktop Go ahead and use it as a boat anchor because it sucks but if on mac buy it a Ferrari :D

I'm running Windows 2000 so I can't use HEK+


Could you uncompile an unchanged Singleplayer map and send the tags to me?
