i an NOT a noob, ive been modin for about 7 years now (turns out that I had the old versions of my programs) I wanted to experience the thrill of modding one of the CE maps. thank you.

hmm... my harbinger doesn'twork (I think)
Is this how you use harbinger?
1) choose the CE map as the target map
2) choose your maps folder for the map that you want switched with
3) choose bloodgulch as the map you want it switched with (I used bloodgulch as an example)
4) keep the pull-down to the left of the map chooseing the same (mp)
5) select "find ones"
6) click convert

Is that how you use it? (I tried looking for a tut, but couldn't find one)

There is a detailed post both about how Harbinger works, and the instructions to use it here. It is pretty straightforward though. Coldsnap doesn't convert correctly because it's protected IIRC. It "converts", but it doesn't actually play. Some maps only work if you have the UB version of halo installed. Since it's rare for a PPC user to have the UB version, those maps are usually referred to as intel only.
