Halo Full Free?

So I went to my friends house to play Halo 2 and he said you need to pay to go on multiplayer (xbox live). So do you need to pay on Halo Full for mac?

No because there are no matchmaking servers. You just connect to the lobby and select which actual server to join. It's an XBL thing, requiring a subscription to play online. The day they institute subscription based online play for non-MMO games is still (hopefully) far off.
