when skining things in halo do you have to UV map all the models or can u do it a different way and i want some tuts and programs for skinging.
but if you have to UV map i wont bother trying cuzi dont have the kind of paitence.
but still give me the tuts and progrrams.

i dont have the link to fonziez modding pack WITH tutorials, but i could have sworn i heard SOMEONE saying they had it...


look in tutorials folder, theres a tut.

google it if you don't know what it is.

There used to be a topic by jsk or his friend about how to UV-map a model you had created. But it appears to have been disappeared. Which is odd since it was in a stickied topic. UV map the model in wings and then scale the image to the correct size. then inject into the correct bitmap. That's what I remember anyways.

UV amp is when you make a modle and you want to texture it so you have to get all the flat edges and individually texture each one it is the most tedious work ever!
