yea i started skinning a while ago but theres a problem. i think i know the answer but. whenever i skin, it doesnt apply only to the map. it does it to halo demo even tho im just using HMT on one map. its wierd. but i think its doing that cause im putting the skinned wtvr in both mask, and the other box. is that it?

No, that's not it. HMT always edits the bitmaps file, because that's the file with all the skins, and that's why it's applied to all your games. Like I said, skins are not in the bloodgulch file, but in the bitmaps file. So be sure to back it up.

Here is a problem I have. I had this Ghost mod with like 12 ghosts in it, but when I applied a skin to it, only 4 ghosts where left on the map. The others vanished. Permanently. Even when I took off the sknned bitmaps file. :?

Bitmaps have nothing to do with it.

customs skins are only as good as the photoshop or watever imaging program skills...

i remember the jedi knight dark forces II days where modding was unlimited and the quality of mods was based on innovative ideas and heavy emphasis on abilities to skin and make graphics for the game...
