Making cool effects and skins? and a couple of other....

Is there a tutorial that could show me how to add some cool effects to lets say... a warthog bitmap in photoshop? I just need to know how to edit it i don't need to know how to inject it. Can someone please teach me how to make some cool effects to a skin like some flames or some kind of transparency pic from halo 3 on it i know about the clone stamp tool but that doesn't help me much D: please someone help me. I know how to draw on a bitmap -__- i need to know some basics or something.

can someone link me to the tutorial? I also have another question that i need someone like taxi to make a neat mini tut :)

I need to know how to make the chaingun warthog shoot needlers but in a burst so that it is like CMT's SPV1 needler turret it shoots one big blast then you have to wait like 2.5-3 seconds so it like overheats and then lets you fire again. How would i do that? Someone please make a mini tut.

That doesn't answer my 2nd question i need to know how to make the needler warthog thing.

It does.

How else do you think they managed to make the turret? divine messages?

To my tutorial for you is to open eschaton and screw around with tags until you find what you want.

Ok, for your cool lookin hog: Mess around with the hue/saturation tool.

For your burst turret: Experiment, particularly with spew time.

Change the RoF to something high. Change projectiles fired to however many are in the needler burst. ›_›

Actually, there's one of those needle-turrets you were talking about. Check Hypothermia v0.3. There's the exact same one as CMT (Except it's purple)

I would say low RoF and a high amout of bullets at a time. or just swap the rocket turret....

Overheat would work in this situation too.

Might want more than just low ROF and high output. If you look at my "flak cannon" in war of the worlds you realize it needs something else. I made it before I knew of some of these things, and its lacking a crucial part of what makes a flak cannon. Something to do with consistent accuracy, like the shotgun. Otherwise you will be in for a few surprises and pitfalls.
