Is it possible to make somewhat of a spike grenade
like is it like a frag that explodes and shoots needler needles everywhere
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS IF NOT IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE

ya it would be really cool cause you make fire grenades and one that shoot rockets too
ps. how do i make bigger explosions

I don't think that it would be possible to have projectiles spike off of a frag on impact. You might be able to throw a cluster of needles instead of a nade, though. As for bigger explosions, tweak the max/min radius in the .jpt! tag. Make sure it's the explosion, not the shockwave. 1.5-2 is normal for nades, I think. putting in 999 will cover about half the map, and it won't make a difference if you go any bigger.

the effect spawns other things (parts, weapons, projectiles, etc)
hmm...
a frag spawns several plasmas, which then spawn many needles. the explosiontiming could be set downward to make it happen in a well manner
it'd be pretty cool...

(KHC) Shadow help me ALOT but when it exploded it only shoot three very slow needles in one direction.
how do i make like 40 of them shoot in all directions at high speed?

Use my fireworks mod, i made it with CE, then switch the projectiles and modify the needler's proj tag.

Look at the frag and plasma grenade tags respectively for each of your two problems. Flamebombs are fairly old now, though. And the large grenade blast is not too hard either.
I really should have released this mod long ago. It had so many new things...

Huh. I just attempted applying chainspawning using HMT, but my rebuilt map crashed the game. -.-

wait.... using HMT??? Anyway crazyshroom, I think i figured out how to make more shoot out of it, just gimme a day or so to perfect it. Aim me again later and ill show u how.

That's what the tut said to do. I'll try it again with eschaton later, but I'm done modding for today.
