Mac Gaming Mods

Sorry for to noob post but i cant get this one. I tryed meny thing from bitmaps to importing everything i could find (took for ever) can any one help? And my C#MT is not working it jest crashes when i open it.

There is a new program called Harbinger. It is on HaloMods in the Halo PC utilities section and here. You select your normal unmodded map folder, and the CE map. Then choose the map you want to convert it too, then press convert. wait a minute or so, and you are done. Note: this only works for Halo full.

yea, but if it converts the map into full... cant you the follow tyler's method to then make the full map work on demo? O.o

i have that app i think i wasn't using it right. Thanks i will see if it works. It want work i use Harbinger to get weps off of CE maps but how do you convert them so you can use them in the demo?

It is impossible to use a Halo full map in demo. Halo CE is a standalone application that uses Halo full (PC) for startup.

umm, neko, the idea of a full map being impossible to play on demo went obsolete like a week ago when tyler's tut on how to do it came out >.>

except his tut only works in programs, if you go to try to play it, the map crashes.

then i misunderstood, i was pretty sure someone in that topic said "allows you to play full maps on demo"

Whatever the method of converting full maps to demo is, there is still the issue of it being illegal. It's called "demo" for a reason -.-;;

... it couldnt be all that illegal since you have to have the maps to play the maps, and in order to get the maps you have to have full anyway, and CE is out of bungie's control, it wasn't intended to be for macs in the first place, and also, by technicalities, isnt teamslayer and oddbal gametypes illegal? since demo was originally made for only slayer and ctf

but it game with the gametypes so its not illegal and they dont sell halo for mac no more so i see no harm in a few map conversions
