I got the new new version f sparkedit that sword made, im no experinced with sparkedit but im making a mod for dangercanyon(Halo Full) and i need a tut on what i can do on it and how to it. For any one with Halo Full i wanted to make a teleporter send u up to the top part of the map that ive been up to once on a windows mod. please help me. oh and the duplicate button dosnt work and how do i move stuff to higher elevations.?? and also, how do i inject the pelican and battle rifle into halo full without it crashing. (and bulldog xD) im making an amazing mod at the moment now i will release wut it is about as soon as i get a beta finished. and how do i make a ppf for my bitmaps? soory for long post i have many questions. AND BEASTS IMPORTING TUT NO WORK SO DONT SEND ME TO THERE! xD

someone tell him what "duplicating tool" is. i will give a wrong explanation -_-

to move stuff vertically hold CTRL
...or shift... i dont remember right now

however what do you think the 'readme' file is supposed to do there for?
to be read by people like you that will not open topics like this.

WELL, hmm the readme file in the new sparkedit is the SAME AS THE PREVIOUS VERSION, i have an intel you may have a different read me because you may have a ppc and how do i make ppfs i still need to know and i still need to know about the importitng stuff. But thanks anyways taxiservice the vertical thingy works.

If you read what sword wrote in his post, it said duplicating doesn't work yet.

ohh DOES ANYONE HAVE A REALLY GOOD TUT I CAN UNDERSTAND PRETTY WELL FOR PUTTInG BATTLERIFLE ETC. INTO A MAP?

lol. See the 4 pyramids in a row on the top of Wings? click the 2nd from the left, select the entire model, right click or cntrl click near it, tessalate>triangulate. Make sure you invert before you trianglulate and inverting will fix the "Holes" in the model.

Halo only uses triangles for it's models. If you've got non-triangles, you've got problems.

It's just the way the engine is built. Triangles are of course the easiest thing to render, but most games allow for standard primitive. Halo does not. In fact, it doesn't explicitly describe the models in triangles, but that's the way they're broken down. When reading indeces, if you have ABCDE, the first three triangles will be: ABC, BCD, CDE.
