No chainguns in pumas: how?

eehm.. i mean Warthogs... however,
in coliseum mod (made by a bunny) there are some warthogs without the machine guns, how can i do it with the rocket hog and the chaiungun hog?

Make them invisible by swapping out the bitmaps they use, and change the seat name, GT-gunner I believe, to be something that doesn't exist. You'd still bump into it though. I think there might be a more advanced method.

And turn off the collision for that part of the Warthog. Pretty much the reverse of making stationary turrets. Which are cool as hell, by the way.

Take the turret from the tank and make them stationary, like in sword's Human Mod. They're badass. I tried doing it once but there was this weird glitch because I was screwing around and made them move when an explosion is near them. If it landed on you Halo crashed. Hehe, fun stuff.

Changing the seat name was how you make it so a player can't get in.
Invisibility is achieved through the magic bitmaps. Seriously, go to the mod2 of the warthog_mp and change all the ones that have to do with the chaingun to be a10_cryo_glass or something.

Yeah that does work. Go figure. I guess it's just always been easier for PC users using HMT to do blanket meta swapping for cryo_glass. yeah just null the three shaders that have to with the chain gun, null out the weapon and change the seat to something like P-driver so they can't get in.

To change the seat go to AC7BFC. It's an ASCII string so you don't have to worry about delimiting with null characters.
What exactly where you nulling out, and how so? Because I actually tested the nulling out of those before posting.

Turn the Warthog into a transportation vehicle only.

Gotta agree. Thats so fun to do. Heh heh. Although, I would like to make it so it explodes on contact with other players, but not the enviroment. Heh heh heh. Kinda like reverse splatter, but deadlier. More like the anti-vehicle mine in Halo 3, but automatic.
Hey.... I forgot to say. Its called a Warthog, not a Puma. Or a Chupathingy, at least.
PS: Did you actually think it was a Puma or were you just quoting RvB?
