Enabling console in Halo MD

Is it possible to enable the console in Halo MD? That way, I could use the developer tools. I was hoping I could make some machinima using Halo MD, but the only console enabling app i found was for the original Halo Demo...

Open HaloMD. While holding down the command key, click on Start. You should see a dialog that says "Halo Graphics Settings". Make sure "Allow console" is checked, then click on the OK button.

it seems i may have not posted clearly or correctly. my bad. what i meant is it possible to turn devmode on(developer mode), which is just really useful for doing things like debugging and making machinima.
