Pearl Issue

I'm trying to convert a10.map to demo, it gets, maybe 90% of the way through (76.8 out of 96.2 MBs, to be precise) and has a NilObject-whatever error and shuts down. Any help, please?

Edit: I've tried it now with almost all the single player maps (everything to c10) and it still doesn't work. Just tried it with Hang 'Em High (best map after BloodGulch), it didn't even get 0.1% through before it quit. I'm gonna go and try it on my Root account now, that may (but not likely) give me some different results.

Edit Edit: Doesn't work for any multiplayer maps either. Help?

Use 1.2 and not 1.3? 1.3 had warnings about not working perfectly.

I have no clue what you just said, but I have all the maps BESIDES for b30, which I f*cked up.

Have you actually played any of the campaign?

Yes. I've gotten up to The Silent Cartographer. But I can't get past it because the map is f*cked up.

Oh wait wrong forum. Yea, my guess is your maps are corrupted. Happens from torrents.

Something is wrong with your maps, or you are not using the program correctly.

I mean, I can play them perfectly. So I don't think they're corrupted.

What section of the map does it get to? It will say which part is being converted in the app's title bar.

Sure there's nothing wrong with your maps? I've successfully converted it using 1.2 three times. What OS are you on?

Modzy, you know more about the files themselves. Would it be possible for a file essential for Pearl to work to be missing while still being playable? Because I know that with torrents, the last >1kb tends to get left out. It's a very small leave out so usually no errors occur, but if Pearl is looking for a specific string or something, it might be one short in his files.
